Marko said that one of the reasons he and Olli got out of it was because they wanted to do music seriously while the band was just interested in hanging out and jamming.{{cite}}

On 25th April 2003, Saaresto and Tukiainen founded "Poets of the Fall" and were soon joined by [[Markus Kaarlonen]], a sound engineer from [[Remedy Entertainment]] who the two had been working alongside during the development of [[Max Payne]].
