<span style="color:white">I think whenever you listen to Poets of the Fall, like new stuff, there's something new coming, something that we are experimenting with, and it's always a kind of drift, because you live on and you see things that at some certain points they start to interest you and you want to experiment. You want to do something, so maybe, but as far as drifting away from our traditional sound - probably the sound will evolve over time, but we'll probably always be the same band that we've always been, you know. I mean, even that, you can listen to me 15 years ago and listen to me today and there is a difference in the sound, but still it's recognisable. It's still 'me', you know and I think that's the same thing with the rest of the music as well, you know. And of course, when you do somethhing like this, it's your form of expression, it's your art form. You want to evolve, you want to do different things and not just keep repeating yourself. On 22nd February 2019, Grant Aroyan and Dmitry Stryukov of the Poets of the Fall fan community vk.com/potfhome conducted an interview with Marko Saaresto in Saint Petersberg, Russia. The camera was operated by Gevorg Gasparyan and Elena Shurkova. Later that day, the band performed at the Kosmonavt venue in Saint Petersberg as part of the Ultraviolet Tour. The interview video was released to YouTube on 8th March by Aroyan - (Link to Video).

I think whenever you listen to Poets of the Fall, like new stuff, there's something new coming, something that we are experimenting with, and it's always a kind of drift, because you live on and you see things that at some certain points they start to interest you and you want to experiment. You want to do something, so maybe, but as far as drifting away from our traditional sound - probably the sound will evolve over time, but we'll probably always be the same band that we've always been, you know. I mean, even that, you can listen to me 15 years ago and listen to me today and there is a difference in the sound, but still it's recognisable.
