Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen-Cabuli (born 17 August 1977), known professionally as Tarja Turunen or simply Tarja, is a Finnish heavy metal singer, best known as the former lead vocalist of Nightwish, but also having a fruitful solo career since her departure from the band in 2005.
Poets of the Fall wrote the song Until Silence for Tarja's 2013 album Colours in the Dark. Marko Saaresto also provided a guest vocal section on Tarja's charity single of Feliz Navidad to raise money for the Barbuda Recovery & Conservation Trust.
