Rochard (The Original Video Game Soundtrack) is the official soundtrack to the 2011 video game Rochard by Recoil Games. The soundtrack CD was included with certain physical editions of the game. A version of the CD in a jewel case was also released in a very limited run. The album is also available to buy digitally.
The soundtrack was spearheaded by Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen, who reworked his popular Amiga Mod from the 90's Space Debris to bring it up-to-date. The original track was heavily inspired by Italo Disco, so he used staples of the genre to flesh it out into something more in-keeping with the otherwise cinematic soundtrack. He also provided the bulk of the rest of the game's music in a variety of different genres.
Captain and his bandmates from Poets of the Fall created the thematic worker-blues style track Grinder's Blues and further music was provided by Burt Kane.
