What is Poets of the Fall?
Poets of the Fall (or PotF) is a Finnish rock band from Helsinki, founded in 2003. The group consists of founding members Marko Saaresto (lead vocals), Olli Tukiainen (lead guitar) and Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen (keyboards, production), as well as later additions Jani Snellman (bass), Jaska Mäkinen (rhythm guitar), and Jari Salminen (drums, percussion). The band has sold over 100,000 albums in Finland.

What is Old Gods of Asgard?
Old Gods Of Asgard is Poets of the Fall's "alter ego" name - a fictional legendary American rock band from the 70's that exists within the Remedy Connected Universe, first appearing in the Remedy Entertainment game Alan Wake. Despite being fictional, the band has released an album in 2024 - Rebirth: Greatest Hits. Marko, Olli and Captain also reprised their roles as Odin Anderson, Bob Balder and Tor Anderson respectively in a performance of Herald of Darkness at The Game Awards 2023.
