Jani Snellman is one of the original members of the "live band" that performed with Poets of the Fall in music videos and on tours since 2005's Lift. Since 2008 he has been a full member of the band, providing notably powerful basslines to tracks such as Revolution Roulette, Rogue and Choice Millionaire. For the unplugged studio live version of Temple of Thought and the Alexander Theatre Sessions, Snellman swapped out his usual bass guitar for a double bass.
