Tuomas Harju, commonly known as Stobe Harju is a film and music video director and artist who has worked extensively with Poets of the Fall, Remedy Entertainment and Nightwish.
In interview, Harju stated that he heard Lift on the radio and called up Poets of the Fall's agent, who arranged a meeting between him and Marko Saaresto. Saaresto told Harju that they'd like to make a video for Lift and they proceeded to brainstorm. Harju didn't meet Olli or Captain until the day of shooting.[1]
His 2006 music video for Carnival of Rust, produced by Nitro FX became hugely popular in Finland, winning two Muuvi Awards as well as the YLE Audience Choice Award as "Best Finnish Music Video of All Time". It was also voted "Best Music Video 2006" by The Voice.[2]
Harju directed cutscenes for Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare as well as cinematic content for Quantum Break[3], plus the game's teaser trailer.
